Default Buffy the vampire slayer

Well, if you read the Christmas thread, you know I Got the complete set of Buffy (all episodes, all seasons).

I've been watching them several episodes at a time at 1 sitting..

Its a good show if you like it (it was major popular), but...I notice something about it.

They had a horrible Script Supervisor...There are so many loose ends, continuity errors, errors in general, and everything in the show..

I didnt notice it in the run of Buffy, but now I'm watching the episodes all together..its Sickening the mistakes they let in...

BIggest Problem: It seems they use certain vampire lore when its convenient, but then all of a sudden when its not - its no longer an issue. In 1 episode Angel met with Giles...IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, the sun was even shining on him.. In another episode, Spike was holding a cross..and was not effected in the least by it..and half of an entire season was based on Angel and Buffy "mating" (for the little kids), when thats a rediculous idea because vampires dont have running blood, so cant "perform" if you will..This is even mentioned a few episodes before in like a 10 minute segment where Buffy is sad because Angel tells her they cant acutally "be together" like that.

This is only in the first 2 seasons :\

Blah..I am major picky when it coems to shows.

*Put on Humor Hat*

At least you didn't get a whole season of "The Crocadile Hunter" on DVD!

But in light of your situtation, take those DVD's, open your oven.. set at 500 degree and enjoy your melted plastics!

Bwahaha the part about vampires not being able to preform got me laughing. I never liked the show personally. Maybe if they had Jessica Alba in it I would have payed more attention. Hell that may not even work seeing as I never saw an episode of Dark Angel

Didn't Angel have a special ring that let him walk in daylight in part of the story? I have a hazy memory of Buffy. And crosses hurt vampires but they can hold them sometimes but it's painful IIRC.

I never really have watch any of the Buffy shows. I figure sometime in the future I will pick them up and watch them....can't watch them all. Not enough time in the day to watch all the TV shows out there. However, I heard Buffy is a decent show...well written.

StarGate is another show I really never watched much. I would like to aquire those season episodes too.

I am chomping at the bit for BattleStar Galatica to come back on in January. Now that is a great show...

Crosses just give them mild burns. But that "lore" is only used when its conventient (like scaring a vampire away)...They forget all about it sometimes..Like the before mentioned show where no harm was done at all and he was grasping a cross for a ritual.

(BTW, other dude, I bought it with money I got for Christmas).

I watched every episode and still don't understand that show, but it's got Jessica Alba so who cares?

If you want something interesting to do, go to nuklearpower.com 8-bit theater is pretty funny. Don't read it if you are "sensitive" to language. Lol.
